Kicks Kenya is a cultural retailer born in Nairobi.

We started with sneakers, but we have always believed that what surrounds the product matters just as much as the product itself.

The people. The music. The art. The sport. The style. The energy. The Culture

Our story began in 2020 with a 320 sq. ft. space and a community of people who shared a passion for sneakers and the culture around them. As that community grew, so did Kicks—from our first expansion to 1,000 sq. ft. jus months later, to the opening of our flagship store in 2022.

But our growth has never simply been about becoming bigger.

It has been about creating a place people can call their own.

A place to discover.
A place to connect.
A place to express yourself.
A place to experience the brands, ideas and people shaping culture today.

Today, Kicks is an authorized retail partner for some of the world’s most influential brands, including Nike, Puma among others. We curate footwear, apparel and lifestyle products from across the world and bring them to our community in East Africa.

But the products are only the beginning.

We believe culture is created by people.

That’s why Kicks exists as more than a retail destination. Through releases, collaborations, events, music, art, sport and the people we bring together, we create spaces for our community to participate in the culture—not simply consume it.

Our home is Nairobi.

Our perspective is East African.

Our influences are global.

And our community is the reason we keep building.

We want Kicks to be a place where a young creative can find inspiration, where a sneaker enthusiast can find their next pair, where an artist can find an audience, where friends can meet, and where the next generation of culture-makers can feel at home.
